As a self published author of children’s books, Nancy Pruitt has the natural talent to bring spirit and life to words and pictures.
With her books, Nancy captures the everyday fun life of farm animals. She gives them a voice by sharing their personalities, experiences and their life lesson adventures.
Nancy believes reading is important and makes it a priority by sharing her stories to children at local libraries and special events. To help bring the stories to life, the children often have the privilege of meeting some of their new farm friends! These opportunities showcase Nancy’s tales of farm life and captures the hearts of new readers. Her stories are grounded in a love of animals and a heart for others.
Horses have become an intricate part of Nancy’s storytelling. Due to her love of horses, she established a program which gives back a portion of each book sale to help rescue, rehabilitate, retrain or the retirement of horses.
Contact Nancy for story times and farm presentations for children! She is also available to speak to adults about the “story behind the stories” and the importance of reading and sharing life lessons learned with the children in their lives.
